The Morocco Photography portfolio below shows all the amazing sights, places and the rich culture of Morocco which I experienced during my travels.
Morocco, distinguished by its Berber, Arabian and European cultural influences, is a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Marrakesh’s medina which is a mazelike medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and marketplaces selling ceramics, jewellery and metal lanterns.
I organized and led 4 Photo Workshops to Morocco between 2014 and 2016 . John Paul Caponigro, Seth Resnick and Dean J. Tatooles also participated in this workshop.
In Morocco, Islam is practised by the majority and it governs their personal, political, economic and legal lives. Islam emanated from what is today Saudi Arabia. The Prophet Muhammad is seen as the last of God’s messengers to bring revelation to mankind.
The family, which consists of both the nuclear and extended family, is the most significant unit of Moroccan lifestyle and plays an important role in all social relations. The individual is always subordinate to the family or group.
From our visit to the Market of Spices, going to Kasbah, the beautiful view of the Dust devil, exploring the dunes, to visiting the typical town in the Atlas Mountain.
