Day 1: Your arrival to Prague
A hundred spirit Prague is interwoven with legends and myths. The streets are romantically narrow as the times of the kings and knights. The facades of buildings reflect the old, exquisite architectural styles. Immerse yourself in its ways and let the stones to tell the story, the story of a city that breathes history.
The photo tour begins at Prague, which is teeming with a fascinating history. The Old Town Square, which is in the central part of the city’s old town, is a photographers’ paradise, with the Old Town Hall on one side and Church of Our Lady Tyn on the other, plus the beautiful St Nicholas Church somewhere in between, providing the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos. Prague Castle, Havel’s Market, Charles Bridge, etc. are other interesting places to visit.
Day 2 – 3: Bohemian Paradise and East Bohemia
Today we start our journey by driving to the Bohemian Paradise. Photographers will surely appreciate the rocky towers surrounded by deep forest. The Hruboskalské rock town is one of the most famous sights here – it is a sand stone plate with approximately 80 meters of thickness that is placed on plastic clay rocks. Many springs flow on the impermeable clay springs, including those which formed the spa in Sedmihorky. The bizarre ruin of Trosky castle is magnificently overlooking the landscape of Bohemian Paradise. You will get a chance to photograph the Trosky castle ruins, which offers breathtaking views of the landscape.
Another landmark is the Fairy tale dam Les Kralovstvi – this water reservoir is truly magnificent. Les Kralovstvi is probably one of the most beautiful water reservoir in the country whose construction started in 1910.
Day 4 – 5: South Moravia
If you are fond of wine tasting, South Moravia is exactly where you need to be – it has a quaint charm as you can see from the vineyards and rolling hills. There are ample opportunities for amazing photography in the countryside. For instance, you can get some excellent shots of beautiful yellow rapeseed fields. I also arrange for you to see the wonderfully painted wine cellars, where you can taste local wine and gorge on delicious meals.
The Lednice-Valtice area is the pearl of South Moravia which is proudly on UNESCO World Heritage List. The castle is situated on the right bank of the river Dyje in the English Tudor Gothic style. The surrounding park combines both French and English landscaping elements. We will spend two nights in the immediate vicinity of the castle Lednice.
Day 6 – 7: South Bohemia
Experience the ambience of the town of Cesky Krumlov which offers countless romantically curved lanes with handicraft shops, cafes and medieval taverns – the cornucopia of colors lets you click marvelous photos. The meanders of the River Vltava flows through the medieval city centre. The castle complex is formed by several courtyards and is the second largest after Prague castle. In the nearby chateau park there is a rotating auditorium where spectators can experience unique theatrical performance during the summer nights directly in the nature.
Among other picturesque castles is the Rozmberk Castle, which is in the town of Rozmberk. The castle is located in the upper part, but can be seen from everywhere. The architecture is stunning, while the view from the tower is gorgoeus.
As in another world you will feel while photographing the village Holašovice. Holašovice has a hint of village where modern times did not penetrate. The village is known for well-preserved south bohemian folk architecture in the style of rural baroque which dates back to the second half of the 19th century. Beautifully painted cottages connected with arched gates give the place a unique atmosphere.
We will return to Prague in late afternoon of Day 7
